Interstices


Digitally processed video and audio acquired from Big Dig construction sites is to be presented on an eight by ten foot screen replacing a section of Jersey barrier fence surrounding a construction area. Evening passersby will encounter a large, bright video projection replete with audio accompaniment. Recontextualizing the Big Dig as performance, “Interstices” blurs the line between public work and public art.
